Mountain Sea was originally written as a compositional project for my Music Technology class. I was tasked with writing a piece that is “ambient and open”. Inspired by what I was sketching, I began filling in voices and melodies and then through a delirious writing session, I thought of the openness of the mountains and the calmness of the sea. 

     This piece is a self video project showing scenes from the mountains and scenes from the ocean. The video is intended to show the beauty of nature without human interference while the music is what I think nature would sound like. Using only two synths and Spitfire Audio’ s Arctic Swells and Arctic Decay pack, I blended the natural with the artificial.
